A Thank-You and a Request

Thank you for taking the time to read my story.

I really appreciate the comments and e-mails.  They keep me going with this effort.

I’m about to begin what I hope will be my final edit on this story, Promises Divined.

I’m a little torn about the organization of the story at this point and was hoping you, the faithful readers, could help me find my way.

The story now moves among the viewpoints of several characters.   Some readers have indicated they like this.  Others, though, have indicated that the jumps make it difficult to really get close to some characters.  Every time they begin to feel immersed, I jump them elsewhere.

An alternative would be to tell this story in two separate but parellel parts.  One would focus on Adanata and Morning Star; the other would focus on David and Ghost.  The two parts would cover the same timeframe, but as seen from the different perspectives.  There’d still be some jumps between characters, but not as many.

If you have feelings on this subject, please share them by comment or e-mail.

Also, if you’ve finished this story and would like to read more, let me know what character/timeframe you’d like to see posted next.  The stories are all written; it’s just a matter of copying them into the blog.

Thank you again for all you’ve done to make this exercise in publication so rewarding for me.
